A cosy winter welcome from all of us here at Thornage Hall Independent Living based in Holt, Norfolk.
As the days grow shorter and the season settles in, we're especially grateful for your ongoing support and each purchase made over the years - it helps us keep creating and sharing.

Weaving Workshop
Our Weavery at Thornage Hall is located in the Old Barn, and is a hive of colour and activity with individuals working at both floor and table looms. Wendy, our workshop leader is a textile artist, milliner and weaver and supports our day service users through the processes of weaving either functional domestic products or their own creative ideas. Colours and patterns are chosen by each day service user at the start of their weaving project, and are often themed around seasonal colours or colours found in the natural environment.
Our weaving workshop is one of our most traditional and longest running workshops here at Thornage Hall, dating back over 30 years.
"Thank you for the Cat Nip Toys which arrived yesterday, which are very much appreciated by Archie. It has been licked, sniffed and kicked since arriving!"
"Please pass on my thanks to Anny for the beautiful card, she is very talented."
Siblings Olivia and Jessie showing off their matching bandanas bought from textiles, looking poochtastic!
So cute!
We are an independent charity providing supported living for adults with learning disabilities with the vision of creating an environmentally sustainable world where everyone can live, learn and work together in a meaningful way, regardless of ability or disability.
Thornage Hall Independent Living provides supported living accommodation in 5 houses located in the beautiful surroundings of the Thornage Hall estate.
We run a biodynamic farm which provides food for those living in our houses, as well as sales to local organic outlets. We have built on the success of the farm and have converted farm buildings into studios for our Day Services offering a range of craft, IT and artistic activity - greatly enriching the lives of those people with learning disabilities who have a thirst to develop new skills within a working environment.
Our community values reflect our history as a Camphill community, the principles of independent living and inclusion, and best practice in care.
